Dr. Teresa Hitzeman has always loved science and working with people. Her career in dentistry has allowed her to combine these interests to help people achieve better oral health. She believes in educating her patients and treating them with compassion and respect.
Dr. Hitzeman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Rush University in Chicago. She continued her education at the Marquette University School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1990. While completing her graduate studies, Dr. Hitzeman was the Student Representative to the American Dental Association. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, The Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Association, and the Bay Lakes Implant Study Club. She has served as a dental adviser to the Lord’s Dental Studio.
Dr. Hitzeman resides in Green Bay with her husband and two sons. She volunteers time providing educational programs in elementary schools regarding dental health issues and the hazards of smoking and tobacco use. She is also very active in her church and is a past board member of the Lac Baic Girl Scout Council. In her spare time, Dr. Hitzeman enjoys reading, golfing and attending her children’s sporting events.
