As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Stephen Froehlich (also known as “Dr. Steve” to his young patients) treats all of the children in his care as if they were his own family. Helping parents understand home care is as important to Dr. Froehlich as anything he can do for their oral health.
Education & Credentials
Dr. Froehlich is originally from Garden City Long Island, New York. He moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He graduated from the M. U. School of Dentistry and completed his Pediatric specialty training at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Marquette University. Dr. Froehlich has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry for over 25 years and is on the teaching faculty of the Marquette University School of Dentistry in the Pediatric Department. His class in Pediatric Dentistry Techniques is an educational requirement for all dental students at Marquette. He is a member of the OKU dental honor fraternity.
Past professional experiences include recognition for receiving the “Golden Apple Award” from the American Dental Association for a continuing education program for dentists. He previously held the Vice-Chairman position with the Public-funded Entitlement Program for the Wisconsin Dental Association. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Association of Dentistry for Children, the Office Sterilization and Asepsis Procedures Research Foundation, as well as the Chicago Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Froehlich has served on the Advisory Board for the Dental Hygiene Program at MATC, the Dental Assisting Program at MATC and the Marquette University School of Dentistry Alumni Board.
